Professional training and onboarding
Since the Paris Agreement was adopted, implementing climate policies has become a task virtually all states address. In the EU, climate and broader sustainability targets have since driven a strong regulatory Green Deal agenda. This is currently recalibrated with a focus on a strong industry and competition agenda. As a result of this, we find ourselves in a constantly evolving, complex regulatory environment with a lot of uncertainty. This places high demands on all experts. We offer knowledge products and trainings to our clients that allow seasoned and new professionals to keep pace with these developments.
Capacity building
Our team has over 15 years of experience in capacity-building initiatives focused on carbon pricing, climate mitigation, and adaptation. In collaboration with our partner FutureCamp Climate, we continue to support capacity-building programs on emissions trading for the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). Team members have also contributed to similar projects for the World Bank and GIZ. Private sector participants strive to understand how instruments work on the implementation side, regulators and policy makers focus on systematic challenges, compatibility aspects and other policy concerns, whereas administration level facilitators aim at gaining deeper process understanding to fulfill their tasks. In our knowledge sharing work, we have gained experience from all these perspectives on different carbon pricing and management instruments.
Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM): meeting transitional reporting obligations
The European Union CBAM started operating in October 2023. It affects imports of aluminum, cement, fertilizers, electricity, iron and steel, and hydrogen to the EU. Importers must calculate and report the GHG emissions embedded in the CBAM goods they bring to the EU. They must map the relevant products, collect emissions information from their non-EU suppliers, and report quarterly using official templates. With our CBAM expertise and with the monitoring, reporting and evaluation experience of experts at FutureCamp Climate, we support clients with all CBAM obligations and strategic adjustments needed in light of this new mechanism.

Investor and supply chain reporting through CDP
Our team at TCD/FutureCamp has outstanding experience in supporting CDP reporting virtually across all industries and the financial sector. Starting as a scoring partner, we evaluated more than 140 reports for CDP. Since 2013, our focus has shifted to assisting mid-sized and large industry clients with their scored climate change, water security, and forests reports.
What truly sets us apart is our in-depth expertise in applying the CDP scoring methodology and logic. We combine this knowledge with practical experience across all key reporting areas - ranging from accounting and pricing to policy analysis and the development of strategies. Our clients consistently improve the substance of their reporting and achieve exceptional scores.

Going beyond compliance and communication
CDP is a case in point for a framework with powerful benefits that go beyond effective communication. For many of our reporting clients, we leverage the integrated investor and supply chain data matrix to inspire and enhance the management of topic-related challenges, both internally and externally. This includes establishing or evaluating the effectiveness of climate governance, the diligent management of risks and opportunities, the transition planning that is required to remain competitive or the intelligent alignment of various strategies to achieve these goals.
Our experienced CDP and CBAM teams brings the expertise and tools necessary to address these critical aspects, helping you transform your business - from improving internal management practices to tackling policy engagement and broader value chain engagement challenges. Please also note our support on planning the transition below.
Climate transition plans
Robust and actionable Climate Transition Plans (CTPs) are fundamental for corporates to systematically transform their business for the low-carbon world. Investors request such information to derisk their portfolios. Policy makers do need detailed information to implement policies. Thus, compliance with regulations and accommodation of external requirements are becoming main drivers. CTPs also empower organizations to align with net-zero, mitigate risks, and seize emerging opportunities. We help you focus on the essential data point to communicate with stakeholders. We help you forge a detailed approach to achieve GHG reduction targets and assess associated impacts on your business model, strategy, and financial performance.
Scenario analysis
Navigating the complexities of climate transition scenarios is essential for businesses aiming to thrive in a sustainable future. Scenario analysis provides the tool to help organizations understand how it might perform in different future states. To do this, we offer you tailored service to establish, simplify and optimize your transition-scenario analysis process.
Target setting
Effective climate target setting is the cornerstone of any sustainability strategy. It aligns your organization's ambitions with global climate goals. You may thereby demonstrate commitment and leadership. The diligent selection of a complementary set of targets can effectively steer your governance, risk management, strategy and supply chain engagement in the direction of the net-zero economy.
Science-based targets
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is one of the essential foundations for ambitious corporate climate action. With our partner FutureCamp Climate, we support our clients in setting ambitious corporate climate targets.
